The Kembang Manten motif is a depiction of the Kembang/Kembar Mayang which is commonly used in Javanese traditional weddings. The most important element used is the janur which has the philosophical meaning of light or rays (nur). The meaning of the Kembang Manten motif is a prayer or request to God Almighty so that our life journey is given blessings, protection, comfort and prosperity (ayem tentrem).
