The cucumber wiji batik motif is a Javanese expression which has a meaning that expresses the beauty of a woman who has beautiful, even, clean white teeth, like cucumber seeds. Flowers depict elegance and beauty so this motif gives an elegant and beautiful impression to the wearer. The process of making written batik uses a special technique in the canting process so it takes quite a long time to do, approximately 1-2 months. The colors used in this written batik are natural dyes from tingi, jalawe, secang. The characteristic of natural colors is a calm combination of brown and pastel green. Each process requires dyeing 5-10 times so that the color can enter the surface of the fabric completely. The fabric used is fine primis cotton which has a cool texture and is comfortable to wear. This batik is usually used for tops and bottoms (Jarit) in traditional Javanese clothing.
