Arae was established in 2018 in Bubulak Bogor West Java Indonesia. "Arae" is an acronym for Anita and Rahman which means happiness and love that we present in every product. Arae is a community-based social enterprise that carries the concept of sustainable living with eco-print and natural dyes as its vocal point. Arae's initiative on sustainable fashion uses plant-based materials, less water consumption, natural dyes and recycling. Arae is also a bridge to be able to provide environmentally friendly products that are good for the earth, provide quality education in rural areas, village revitalization, community empowerment and forest rehabilitation by allocating 30% of each of its sales.
