Pattern Meaning: Inspired by the Samarinda sarong with its checkered motifs, a combination was created with hand-drawn batik featuring the "daun tahongai" (tahongai leaf) and "kendi" (traditional water jug). These symbols represent the cultural civilization of East Kalimantan. The "Kendi" motif draws its inspiration from the IKN region (Ikatan Keluarga Nusantara) during the momentous establishment of the IKN region, where soil and water were brought together in the "kendi" as a symbol of unity in the land of Kalimantan.
