Sukapura Handwritten Batik

Batik Tulis Karuhun Sukapura Gandok Jaya Mukti was established with the aim of preserving the ancestral heritage of Sukapura, namely the hand-drawn Batik Tulis Karuhun Sukapura. It is located in the village of Jenggala, Sukaraja, Tasikmalaya, with the hope of preserving and improving the economic livelihoods of batik artisans. Batik Sukapura showcases the distinctive motifs of Karuhun Tasikmalaya, which are created using a hand-made (tulis) technique and feature unique colors such as maroon, navy, black, and brown. As a result, Batik Sukapura produces elegant, beautiful, and captivating motifs.
