Batik Walangkekek was created by Ester Wulandari, the daughter in law of the legendary Indonesian Keroncong singer, Waldjinah. Batik Walangkekek derives its name famous from Waldjinah’s famous song “Walang Kekek”. Ester’s love for Waldjinah cultural legacy of Batik compels her to carry on this priceless tradition in the forms of designing exclusive premium hand-drawn Batik with motif from Waldjinah’s hundreds of Batik collection during her singing career.
