Cantika Sabbena was initially named Rumah Mode Eta, which was established in 2007. In September 2011, the business changed its name to KUB Cantika with the addition of an embroidery unit. However, in 2018, KUB Cantika rebranded itself as Cantika Sabbena on the advice of the Regent of Soppeng, with the aim of focusing more on silk to support the government's program to Restore the Glory of Silk in Soppeng Regency. Additionally, this business implements eco-friendly practices (ecoprint) and has previously accessed international markets. The business also offers woven and batik fabrics.
