Beaded shoes made with traditional motifs characteristic of the Dayak people in East Kalimantan, but designed with a contemporary trend so that they can be worn by people of all ages, young and old. They are crafted by female bead artisans in the Anggana district and then stitched by two male shoe tailors.

MSME Profile

Ceu Popy was established in 2015. Initially, it only produced a popular snack called Cireng. In 2018, Ceu Popy decided to expand its product range by introducing traditional beaded crafts from East of Borneo (Kalimantan). This initiative aimed to empower housewives whose husbands were affected by mining layoffs, as well as the wives of fishermen who had irregular incomes. Ceu Popy successfully empowered 80 female bead crafters and 2 male bead crafters.
