MSME Profile
Raja Ulos is one of the MSMEs located on the outskirts of Lake Toba in Muara District, North Tapanuli Regency. Weaving has become a hereditary activity for the community in Hutanagodang Muara Village, especially dominated by elderly women. The condition of weavers & their woven products that can’t be optimally reached by the Batak ulos market and the lack of interest of the younger generation in weaving activities raises concerns for the founder of Raja Ulos Himself. Moving on from these conditions, Raja Ulos was founded with the hope that Raja Ulos production will be increasingly recognized & increase the number of sales as well as provide education and understanding to the younger generation in Hutanagodang to learn the weaving process.
