Bangka DH Kelulut Honey is honey produced from kelulut bees / Plaket / Teweul / Klanceng / stingless bee honey or meliponini honey derived from HeteroTrigona itama bees. Which is very much found in forests and plantations in the Bangka Belitung region. and now it has also been widely cultivated. The advantages of kelulut honey are that it has a higher water content, higher acidity, lower total carbohydrate levels, and higher antioxidant levels which are processed by a dehumidifier (Reducing Water Content to below 19% without heating process) so that nutrients are maintained and the honey is thicker in accordance with EXPORT QUALITY standards.

Born from Need, Growing into Change In 2017, seeking authentic honey led us to Bangka Island's forests. We found unhygienic practices: honey extracted without gloves, stored in used paint buckets. We acted, educating locals on hygiene standards, from food-grade gloves to safe containers. This led to Madu RR1669, pure, hygienic honey, standardized from harvest to packaging. Now, Juragan Madu Bangka not only produces honey but also empowers wild honey hunters and stingless bee farmers in Bangka Belitung to yield export-quality honey, boosting shared prosperity.
