Perkumpulan Petani Organik Wonoagung (PPOW)

PPOWW was established in 2016 based on concern for the fate of rice farmers in Wonogiri. Several young people joined in teaching organic farming systems and facilitating post-harvest processing and marketing. PPOWW's main products are organic product including rice (red, black, white, aromatic white, mixing rice), spices, cashew, cocoa, arenga sugar, and bamboo roasted salt. Currently developing spices tea, rice noodles, rice coffee etc. Locally PPOWW products can be found in modern markets. The products have also been exported to several countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, France, Italy and America. Organic farming systems that have been standardized and certified nationally even internationally are an added value to this program.
